The Brief

Masdar City — Abu Dhabi's landmark sustainable urban development — required an outdoor seating installation that aligned with the city's world-leading sustainability credentials. All materials needed to perform reliably in the exposed desert climate while meeting the project's stringent environmental specifications.

The Outcome

LIGNA CLAD— thermally modified hardwoods chosen for their enhanced dimensional stability and outstanding weather resistance in Abu Dhabi's extreme climate. This project was successfully executed in close collaboration with main contractor ASGC, whose coordination and site execution played a key role in the quality of the final outcome.

The Coca-Cola Arena — Dubai's premier indoor entertainment venue and one of the most recognisable landmarks in the city — required premium custom wooden bench seating that would stand up to heavy footfall while delivering the natural warmth and visual quality befitting one of the region's most iconic urban spaces.

The Outcome

LIGNA SLAT was custom-profiled and precision-milled to deliver bespoke bench seating across the arena's public spaces.
